Famous ICEHOTEL, located in Sweden, 125 miles north of the Arctic Circle is open since 1989. It is made from snow and ice, so it was working only at winter… up until now. Solar panels will convert sun energy from May to July to keep the temperature inside around 23 degrees Fahrenheit, so that hotel does not melt during the sunny season. ICEHOTEL has 20 guest suites, provides saunas and warm rooms for those who are tired of coldness. An ice church is there also as the latest new feature.

Guests can select from standard suites, Art suites and Deluxe suites. Art ones are decorated with ice sculptures made by world-known artists. And Deluxe suites in addition to everything above include private relaxation area, bathroom and sauna. All the ice beds are covered with reindeer hides and have thermal sleeping bags, so that guests do not get frozen at night.
