Cecil - The Real Lion King ( 2002 - 2015 )
- The iconic Lion King Cecil, the biggest attraction in Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park.
- Thirteen-year-old Cecil, a lion had been studied by scientists from Oxford University as part of a study that has run since 1999.
- According to the conservationists, Cecil was wearing a GPS collar to track his movements. Sources claim that Cecil had become a tourist attraction for visitors to the park.
- Cecil was killed outside Hwange National Park, in Zimbabwe, on 1 July 2015.
