Amazing Aqueduct and the Dalsland Canal
- Håverud Aqueduct is regarded as one of the greatest engineering achievements of its day.
- The Aqueduct in Håverud Sweden was planned in 1863 but due to lack off ideas, it wasn't finished until 1868.
- It was made in Stockholm and transported in parts to Håverud, where it was put together with 33 000 rivets. It is 32,5m(106'8'') long, 4,05m(13'3'') wide and 1,8m(5'11'') deep.
- The whole system has a total of 4 sluice gates, operated manually.
