On a hill in Takila, Lhuentse stands the magnificent bronze statue of Guru Nangsa Zelnen, surrounded by eight big and 108 small chortens (stupas).

This place not only serves as a sacred institution of learning for monks and nuns but also as a home for the elderly. The statue has been built to bring peace and harmony within the country and around the world.
