Indian film actor who played the role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan in the film Agneepath. He also starred in the blockbuster films Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Fiza. He won a Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his role in Dhoom 2.

BEFORE FAME:
He earned a degree in Commerce at Sydenham College. He debuted in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai in 2000.

He Performs His Own Stunts

Hrithik is fond of cats and he is known to be big hearted. When fatally sick, patients told that they wanted to meet him and he obliges.  His debut film “Kaho Naa…” broke all box office records and bagged all the major awards in 2000. He became the overnight sensation and his fan following had drastically increased and girls were fainting for him across the world. He got whopping 30000 proposals for marriage on Valentine’s Day when his film was released. He prefers performing his own stunts. As a result, he suffered several injuries on the shoots and he also developed scoliosis (a medical condition in which spine is curved and appears like “?” or “S”) when he was 21 years old. He proved everyone wrong who said he couldn’t continue his acting career.

Hollywood Project

"Greek God Hrithik Roshan is all set to make a mark in Hollywood. At an event for a leading TV channel, Hrithik confessed, "Yes, I have a Hollywood project this year." Though the actor did not reveal much about the film or its star cast.
