His native country Germany is blessed with lush forests, foggy mountain tops and clear blue lakes and Jannik loves to explore it. He’s been capturing German wilderness since the age of 13, when he first took up photography as a hobby.

When he’s not in school , Jannik ventures into the lesser known corners of Germany and takes stunning pictures like the few compiled here.

“If you won’t go out and explore, you won’t see how beautiful nature can be,” Jannik cleverly confesses on his Instagram blog and we’re instantly reminded of Joyce’s words from ‘An Encounter‘.
