• The normally bustling streets of London were eerily quiet on Saturday night as Britons stayed at home during the coronavirus lockdown. The capital's many bars, pubs and clubs would on any other weekend be full to the rafters but instead, they sat closed and empty. On Monday, Boris Johnson ordered the public to remain at home and to only go outside when absolutely necessary. The drastic measures mean the public is spending its Saturday night at home in an effort to stop the spread of the infectious virus.
